Roberts Sands is an Emmy Award-winning composer and music producer. For the past thirty years, Sands, who works out of his own music studio in rural Hunterdon County, NJ, has written scores for everything from daytime dramas to documentaries. His two national Emmy Awards for “Best Music on a Daytime Drama” are for music that he created for Another World and As the World Turns. Sands has also received regional Emmy Awards for four documentaries that he scored in the 1990’s for NJN Public Television, including Seabright Skiff, Royal Rule and Religious Revival, The Two New Jerseys and Community Crackdown. Robert has also written music for feature films, radio and corporate productions. Additionally, Sands produces his own music. His latest CD, entitled “A Gift of Love,” is available on Heartbeat Records, as well as on iTunes and CD Baby. It’s an all-instrumental album featuring a new take on sacred music for children.
